Valentina is a nationally and internationally recognised expert on Scottish culture and community heritage: literature, songs, stories, working lives, food traditions. Formerly a senior academic, and research centre director, experienced in partnership working, Valentina has outstanding expertise in Knowledge Exchange, and ethical research. She can advise on securing funding (public, private, RCUK), and deliver workshops, courses and programmes. She often works, too, as a consultant to television, radio, theatre and film, drawing on her specialist knowledge of Scottish literature, folklore and cultural heritage.
